Pallibani Mission is working relentlessly since 1997 in Delhi promoting Odia Literature, Culture and Art. It is publishing an Odia literature magazine “Pallibani” continuously for last 25 years, probably only of its kind published and sustained so long outside Odisha. Apart from literature, Pallibani Mission recognizes Odia talents by conferring them with Pallishree Samman and Pallibani Samman every year for excellence in different areas of work.Pallibani Mission’s flagship event Odisha Journalism Award was started in 2018 to recognize efforts of Odia journalists in bringing excellence to their work and thus raising the standard of journalistic tradition and thus inspire the young to take to the journalism profession and create excellence. The Organization organizing ‘Shabd’, the Young Writers Conclave every year.

Pallibani Mission’s work has supported many landmark achievements for Odisha’s cultural and linguistic identity such as Odisha name amendment in Parliament, Odia Classical language, Odia Language Day celebration and many more.
